The Martin Essex School for the Gifted and Talented at Otterbein University, Westerville, Ohio has invited me to present to weeklong workshop participants from around the state!

Ashoka Foundation sponsors empathy curriculum collaborative competition!
Dr. Carol Engler, associate professor of education has been selected to serve as an Expert Commentator for an empathy collaborative competition project, sponsored by the Ashoka Foundation. The title of the project is: Activating Empathy: Transforming Schools To Teach What Really Matters. This online effort, with corporate sponsors that include Mattel, is encouraging submissions of ideas and projects for advancing empathy in education. Deadline for submission is March 29, 2012. To date, over 130 worldwide applications have been entered. Prizes for winners total over $100,000.

I have started a company to produce empathy based video games for kids. This is the work of a lifetime, and so exciting. I am currently seeking topnotch game designers and investors. The work continues….!!
